609    This is a  picture of the full quilt.
I wanted to do a patriotic quilt in which I could incorporate some of my vintage army blankets and recycled wool and fabric.  I decided to use the original pledge of allegiance written by Frances Bellamy in 1892.  You will be able to use a lot of scraps for this quilt.  I did it by hand, without a machine and it went very quick.  What fun I had... I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.      The finished size is approximately 35" X 47".   One of my favorite recipes is included with this pattern as with all patterns in the hand-me-down series.
